Greece & Greek Islands Yacht Charters - Bareboat, Skippered, Crewed & Gulets
With the longest coastline in the Mediterranean and more islands than anywhere else, a yacht charter in Greece offers so much variety and interest it is no suprise that it remains such a popular destination.
Variations in geology and climate give Greece everything from snow-covered mountains, fertile green fields to barren rocky islands. The sea outside of marinas and harbours is clear and blue, with pebbly shores and sandy beaches. Something for everyone!

Some yachts are 2 versions of the same type, with battened or furling (B/F) mainsail so please do check with us upon enquiry if you have a preference. One-way sailing between bases is possible subject to availability and applicable supplement.

Weather in Greece

The prevailing winds in summer are from the north, but there is a lot of regional variation. Generally the Ionian area has gentler winds;  ideal for first timers, with increasing strengths in the Sporades and Dodecanese islands.  There is very little rainfall in summer, although visibility may be reduced by dust in the atmosphere. Outside of the main sumer season (May to September) the weather can be rather unpredictable.
