Current Euro exchange rates make purchasing one of our pre-owned charter yachts very attractive, as they are priced in Sterling.

The yachts in the Top Yacht fleet in Turkey are privately owned, and we provide a unique charter management service for owners. We do not insist on specific builders or models, and the variety and specification of the yachts in our fleet is one of our attractions for charterers. If you are not an experienced sailor, we can arrange for a skipper to help you gain the skills and confidence you need to handle your own yacht. If you are looking for an economical means of yacht ownership, check our list of yachts in brokerage to the right: all are in excellent condition, and most can remain in the charter fleet or be sailed away.

Choosing and buying your yacht

All yachts entering our fleet are purchased new through us. We will help you choose the yacht which best suits your needs, and we do not restrict you to a few models from one or two boat builders. We will point out the advantages or drawbacks of a particular yacht and advise on factors which will make it more or less suitable for charter. A detailed purchase quotation will be prepared, and equipment specified to your requirements. There is no VAT on the yacht or its equipment as it will be exported to Turkey. We do not provide finance, but can recommend a marine mortgage company. We liaise with the builder, handle the financial transactions, do all the export paperwork, registration, insurance, commissioning and launch.

Charter Management Contract

Our initial charter agreement is normally for 4 years. After this you may renew annually up to a further 6 years - an arrangement unique to Top Yacht. We can charter for this length of time because of the high standard of maintenance, and because our boats are chartered only by experienced sailors, minimising wear and tear. During the charter season, 60% of the net charter revenue will be paid monthly to the owner. Owners are charged a management fee, which covers the predictable third party running costs such as insurance, marina, routine service and maintenance. Your holiday entitlement is 4 weeks free of charge in season, and unlimited use out of season. Last minute bookings are free of charge, and owners may reserve additional weeks in advance, at cost.

Moving on...

At the end of our contract, you may wish to take your yacht out of the fleet for private use. We help to ease the process by providing an over-wintering service, so that your yacht is fully ready to be sailed away the following spring. If you wish to sell your yacht, we offer advantageous brokerage rates, particularly to owners wishing to upgrade to a newer or larger yacht and remain within the charter fleet. We advertise yachts for sale on our own and selected websites, as well as in yachting press and at Boat Shows. Top Yacht managed boats generally hold their value extremely well, due to our high standards of professional maintenance. Yachts currently in our brokerage are listed to the right.
