Welcome to Top Yacht in Turkey
The coastal area is interesting and varied, and there is plenty to explore, from the ruins of ancient cities to efficient modern marinas. Dine at a beachside restaurant surrounded by pine trees in a peaceful bay, or sample sophisticated Ottoman dishes in a bustling resort. Snorkel and kayak in the clear waters around the rocky shores, buy your provisions in the colourful local market, and haggle over the price of a rug. With such diversity, it’s not surprising people come back to Turkey time after time.

Winds
The prevailing summer breeze is the meltemi, usually force 3 – 5 from the north-west, following the coast round and into the gulfs. It picks up in late morning, dying away in the evening, and is strongest in July and August.
Charter bases
We operate from two bases, about 70 miles apart by sea. One way sailing is an option, at no extra cost.
Göcek: Under 30 minutes from Dalaman airport. The village has shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, cash machines and a post office. The Port Gocek Marina is 5 minutes from the village, and has its own supermarket, restaurants, bars and a beach. Shore trips to places such as the Saklikent Gorge or the Turkish baths can be arranged.
Keçi Bükü: Under 2 hours from Dalaman airport. Marti Marina has a supermarket, restaurants, bars and a swimming pool. Marmaris town, with excellent shopping and lively nightlife, is 30 minutes away, by free minibus from the marina. Shore trips can be arranged for horse riding, to waterfalls or a carpet factory.
Planning your cruise is part of the fun, but with so much to choose from, you may need a little help. Download our suggested itineraries (below right) for some ideas. Our UK office staff have all sailed the area and can also suggest routes to suit you. A detailed briefing is provided at the base, with information on anchoring, restaurants, places of interest and weather conditions. You can download sample itineraries from the menu to the right.
Top Yacht staff
Our friendly, professional team will prepare your yacht and brief you on the boat and its equipment. They offer detailed briefing on the cruising area and are available to advise or assist throughout your holiday. They will debrief you at the end of your holiday, and can arrange shore trips.
